QUESTION: Should I have a written contract with every client?
ANSWER: ABSOLUTELY YES!!!!! Some states require a written contract. A written contract protect you because you have disclosures and clauses which release you from liability of something happens. Plus verbal insurance declines are no good in court. Your client has to check off that he/she declined insurance for YOU to be covered.
Certain states and court cases require that you disclose cancellation penalties, the suppliers you use etc. Use the form on AAgents site (forms on left) every time you book a trip for your client. Cover your ASSets!!
